Understanding payslips and deductions
What appears on a Payora payslip — earnings, SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG contributions, withholding tax and net pay.
Every finalized Payora pay run produces a payslip for each employee. This guide explains what it shows.
Earnings
Basic Pay, Overtime Pay, Holiday Pay, Night Differential, and a 13th Month Component where applicable — totalled as Gross Pay.
Deductions
The employee's statutory contributions — SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG — plus Withholding Tax, and any Late, Undertime or Absence deductions. Employees also see loan deductions (SSS Loan, Pag-IBIG Loan) and other deductions. These total as Total Deductions.
Note: the payslip shows the employee's share of SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG. The employer share isn't on the payslip — it appears in Reports → Government Contributions.
Net pay
Net Pay is Gross Pay minus Total Deductions — the amount that goes into the disbursement.
Seeing the breakdown
On their own payslip, an employee can expand "See how this was calculated" for the detail.
